Provides support to the overall clinic operations through efficient and appropriate scheduling in relationship to provider schedules, established scheduling guidelines, and demonstrates excellent customer service.
Manages patient flow on the 5th floor including checking patients in, coordinating entry into the Unit and communicating patient’s status to appropriate nursing staff. Includes some registration functions, assembling of medical forms and telephone call management.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years experience in an ambulatory health care setting preferred.
Prior experience utilizing an automated scheduling system and proficiency with PC and related applications.
Demonstrated communication, organizational and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated customer service skills including listening, empathy, and follow up
