The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) contributes to the advancement of evidence-based nursing practice and continuous improvement of comprehensive quality patient care. The APRN advances oncology nursing practice as an expert clinician, interdisciplinary consultant, educator, researcher, and nursing leader. The APRN achieves this through involvement in clinical support, education, research, organizational support, quality initiatives and professional growth.
