The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), located in Seattle, Washington, is part of a dynamic collaboration among three organizations known nationally and internationally for their patient care and research: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, University of Washington, and Seattle Children's. Over the past 25 years, these institutions have worked together to support their mission of adult and pediatric oncology patient care services, research and education.

The Clinical System Analyst is primarily responsible for supporting key aspects of applications that support the operation of the clinic. This position primarily supports the Radiology, Radiation Oncology, and Procedure Suites. This entails providing technical support, troubleshooting, systems change management, business analysis, process improvement, project management, and training of users. The individual will also support senior analysts and engineers with testing and process development, and end to end system configuration tasks.


  • Manages and supports tier one/two technical support processes, such as break fix, troubleshooting, and systems change management
  • Conducts testing/support in tier 2 and tier 3 technical support processes
  • Delivers training
  • Builds and manages technical documentation
  • Supports application security
  • Complies with all regulatory mandates, as applicable
  • Builds, tests, manages, and supports system configuration
  • Supports requirements gathering and business analysis
  • Participates in Process Improvement efforts
  • Work with clinical partners to understand the problems
  • Create recommendations to resolve business problems



  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or related Information Technology field or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of relevant experience
  • Able to rapidly solve IT systems problems that interfere with or disable clinical operations
  • Ability to identify and triage issues appropriately
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize concurrent responsibilities and demands
  • Working knowledge of healthcare operations and clinical processes
  • Strong customer service skills


  • Lean processes or CPI knowledge and exposure
  • Knowledge oncology patient care services
  • Knowledge of basic TCP/IP, DICOM, or HL7
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with GE PACS, Epic, or Mosaiq
