The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA), located in Seattle, Washington, is part of a dynamic collaboration among three organizations known nationally and internationally for their patient care and research: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, University of Washington, and Seattle Children's. Over the past 25 years, these institutions have worked together to support their mission of adult and pediatric oncology patient care services, research and education.
SCCA is seeking a clinical per-diem acupuncturist to serve within its Integrative Medicine clinical program.
As a licensed Acupuncturist, you will provide intensive symptom and side effect management as a member of a multidisciplinary care team in SCCA’s outpatient clinic. This role will collaborate closely with a core Integrative Medicine clinical team that includes the Integrative Medicine Medical Director, acupuncturists, and a nurse practitioner. The Acupuncturist will coordinate clinical care with the larger team of SCCA Supportive Care disciplines including yoga therapy, nutrition, social work, physical therapy, psychiatry, pain management, and palliative care. The Acupuncturist will interface with clinical fellowship trainees.
This position will report to clinical operations within SCCA. This role requires highly-developed clinical skills in oncology as SCCA offers acupuncture services across a diverse oncology population.
