The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, located in Seattle, Washington, is part of a dynamic collaboration among three organizations known nationally and internationally for their patient care and research: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, University of Washington, and Seattle Children's. Over the past 25 years, these institutions have worked together to support their mission of adult and pediatric oncology patient care services, research and education.


The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance is looking for a Security & Transportation Program Assistant to support a variety of functions. The candidate will requires skill-sets in organization, multi-taksing, attention-to-detail, professionalism, customer service, and more. For many, this person will be the fist point of contact and will need to be comfortable with assisting guests.  

  • Managing the badging station including printing badges, ordering badges, and monitoring badging supplies.
  • Creating staff & affiliate profiles
  • Access Control support
  • Troubleshooting printer
  • Assistance to assembling requested data
  • Assistance with Financial Management System and Budget
  • Issuing Parking Passes
  • Collecting Parking Payment
  • Setting Up Orca Passes
  • Supporting Transportation Supervisor
  • Taxi Vouchers
  • Liaison for Towing company
  • Maintains Cyclist List
  • Overall program support




  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Under minimal supervision, ability to use initiative and sound judgment in carrying out responsibilities
  • Ability to communicate verbally in person, on the phone, and in writing in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to use a mouse, navigate computer programs, enter data into computer systems in accurately and efficiently
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, complex health care environment
  • Ability to establish professional relationships with patients, families, staff and providers
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
