The Executive Assistant is the key administrative position responsible for supporting, organizing and coordinating activities and schedule for the SCCA Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), VP within the Strategy Division.


  • Maintaining CSO’s calendar, including but not limited to daily agendas, domestic travel, conferences and personal conflicts.
  • Providing meeting support & coordination for all meetings pertaining to the CSO: including, scheduling meeting preparation calls, drafting meeting agendas, minutes and follow-up items.
  • Supporting the CSO’s reporting responsibilities to the SCCA Board in coordination with the Administrative Director to the SCCA Board.
  • Drafting and editing PowerPoint presentations and letters for outside communication.
  • Filing and legally maintaining all documents & agreements.
  • Maintaining CSO’s and team budget status.
  • Direct report’s time and effort.
  • Working closely with the Executive support of EVP to ensure smooth transition & communication for new business developments.
  • Other administrative duties as assigned.
  • The Executive Assistant interfaces and works collaboratively with leadership and colleagues in SCCA Administration, FHCRC, UW, and SC, in addition to various government agencies, non-profit organizations, and health care institutions. 
  • The incumbent completes specific special projects as assigned and demonstrates skillful communication in resolving complex and sensitive issues, exercising initiative and judgment in prioritizing activities and in decision-making within the scope of assigned authority. 
  • Provides coordination of the VP’s support teams including recruiting, training and coaching. 



  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including phone manner with customers required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel required.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks and demands required.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and professional skills required.


  • Six years progressively complex administrative experience preferred.
