Working with contacts across the organization, this role is responsible for various general ledger processing, including preparation of journal entries, monthly reconciliations, schedules for audit, insurance, budget and tax support, and collaborating with outside departments. This position works on a combination of standard tasks as well as some more nuanced month end journal entries and reconciliation


  • Prepare journal entries and related reconciliations.
  • Process routine and non-routine financial transactions (e.g. fixed assets, billing, payroll).
  • Communicate with customers (peers, SCCA department managers, SCCA Partners and affiliates, etc.) to resolve accounting issues and share and gather information.
  • Independently identify, research, and resolve issues within assigned work.



Minimum of two years experience in accounting or finance.  Minimum of two years experience in conducting monthly/yearly financial statement close processing.  Three to four years of such experience is preferred. 



Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
