Clinical Nurse Coordinator—Hematology Oncology Clinics
Seattle Cancer Care Alliance is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (1.0 FTE days) to support our Hematology/Oncology outpatient clinic. Regular working hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM or four 10 hour shifts 7:30-6PM, closed weekends and holidays.
The Hematology/Oncology clinic has an exciting and fulfilling opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC). Join a dynamic and supportive nursing team that provides patient-centered, comprehensive nursing care for complex outpatient oncology clients. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, including nationally-recognized specialists in Hematology and Oncology, to bring the most innovative therapies to patients.
In this position you will:
Current Washington State Registered Nurse license
Current BLS AHA Health Provider certification
Minimum one year inpatient hospital experience
Minimum one year oncology experience
Excellent communication skills
Excellent assessment skills
Ability to perform triage both in-person and by phone
Ability to work under pressure
Competence in basic computer skills
Hematology experience (strongly preferred)
Bachelors of Science in Nursing
Two years oncology experience
