The Patient Care Coordinator will schedule all routine and non-routine medical services. In addition, assists patients with coordinating referrals to other healthcare providers and services.
The Patient Care Coordinator will perform a variety of administrative tasks in collaboration with the providers and the treatment team to ensure patient and family needs are met.

Medical Record Activities:
Work Experience Requirements:
1-2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare setting preferred
1-2 years of direct patient care experience preferred
Experience in oncology setting preferred

Experience and competent in using EMR and other computer based programs.
Competitive candidates will have demonstrated clerical experience and previous experience working with patients. Inherent to success in this position are strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
Occasional evening and weekend hours will be required.
High School graduation or equivalent AND one year of experience in a health care setting OR three years of general office or customer services experience OR equivalent education/experience.
